27 Mar In-App payment by Kenyans and Nigerians with mobile money and bank transfer will soon be nice and easy for Multinational eCommerce Companies Expanding to Nigeria and Kenya.

It will soon be nice and easy for multinational eCommerce companies who have an app like Uber, Airbnb, Amazon, H&M, Bolt, Wish, eBay, OLX, Bet365, betfair, Starbucks, Booking.com, to get paid in-app via bank transfer and mobile money in two of the biggest eCommerce countries in Africa.

African Payment Solutions are working on an in-app payment method that supports mobile money payment and bank transfer for local payment by consumers in Kenya and Nigeria.

There will be no need for eCommerce companies to open a local legal entity or local bank account - the plan is for African Payment Solutions to use their existing pan-African infrastructure to make it easy for internationals.   Everything taken care of.

This new form of payment will be used to accept mobile money payments from any mobile money provider, and bank transfers from consumers who bank with any bank in Nigeria.

By adding the SDK to their mobile app, multinational merchants will be able to accept payment in-app for M-Pesa and bank transfer from consumers banking at the leading banks in Kenya.

Mobile consumers will simply need to enter their pin in the app and the payment is automatically executed.
